brand identity
Youth Music Theatre UK* is a national performing arts education charity that specialises in creating brand new music theatre. Whilst working at Shaun Webb Design (SWD), I worked closely with YMT for over 4 years on artwork for their marketing campaigns. In 2017, we launched their new brand identity, including a website re-skin, 3 campaigns, brochure, company stationery and collateral for fundraising events.
Rebrand Objectives
Working alongside YMT's executive producer and marketing team, our aim was to modernise the company brand identity by creating a fresh, professional look with flexible graphics that will attract young performers, their guardians and teachers, and improve YMT's public persona. Building on their impressive portfolio and show imagery, we wanted to streamline their look, using a vibrant colour palette and minimalist graphics based on the concept of stage tape.
*Now known as British Youth Music Theatre – the identity was designed incorporating a name change.
